Taiwan government cracks down on foreigners teaching at kindergartens
The China Post - The Ministry of the Interior (MOI) has asked the Council of Labor Affairs (CLA) to crack down on foreign teachers working in local kindergartens and daycare centers. According to the CLA, it is against the law for kindergartens and daycare centers hire foreigners. Full Story
French singer Sargue, aka Romeo, back in Taipei this Saturday
The China Post - French singer Damien Sargue, known for his performance as Romeo in the French musical "Romeo et Juliette," will hold a concert this Saturday based on the theme from the classic tale by William Shakespeare. The China Post - Noting that Taiwan Toys "R" Us has different sourcing from those of the U.S.-based Toys "R" Us and Babies "R" Us. Nangang Exhibition Hall to be inaugurated
The China Post - The Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall will be inaugurated in March 2008, with the first exhibition at the new venue to be the Taipei International Cycle Show. Taichung to celebrate World Car-Free Day on September 22
